Hello, hello? Is this thing on?

So, my ‘short break’ from blogging turned into an eighteen month void of emptiness – let it never be said that I do things by halves! – and I suppose I should fill you in on all the exciting things that have happened to me since July 2016.

Well, since then, I’ve taken up stand-up comedy. Yes, that’s right, I now embarrass myself in front of people AS WELL AS just online! I did a course in the hopes that it would boost my confidence, which it did, and would open up new avenues for me.

Which it sort of has. I was asked to write a panto for the Wimbledon am dram group and though they didn’t take up it last year (boo! Hiss!) it’s ready to be rolled out to whichever local amateur dramatic group would like it. I really need to start hawking my wares more.

I have also been on a Faber & Faber course on writing for children and am currently working my way through the (as yet untitled) Adventures of Arthur Greenwood. So far, I’ve turned him into a donkey…

Considering I haven’t blogged for a year and a half, this is a short return, but a return it is. Expect more!
